QCTO

Important information to note about the new course:  101321 Occupational Certificate Training and Development Professional

  • The last date for enrolment is 30 Jun 2026.
  • Learners who enrolled before this date can still complete the courses until 1 August 2026, at no additional cost.
  • There are no additional fees to enroll for this qualification through TrainYouCan, and you only process payment for the modules completed. (NO risk policy.)
  • Learners who enroll for the full qualification through TrainYouCan before 30 June 2024 will be able to qualify for this offer.
  • Does not matter if you completed some of the modules through a different provider. The SETA will issue your final Certificate once all the credits are achieved. You also only pay for the modules you complete with TrainYouCan.
  • New discounts only apply to new enrolments and courses, not yet.
  • This qualification replaces 50334 and is available through the QCTO. (Not the SETA.)
  • QCTO process for a new qualification that is taking over takes longer to complete and will come at a higher cost.
  • The new QCTO Qualification requires you to complete practical assignments with an employer, which will become very problematic for rural learners. These practical assignments can only be done with a registered site/employer and, in many cases, with additional cost.
  • To Trainer, Assess or Moderator qualification under the QCTO, you need a qualification behind your name. For example, You will need a full NQF5 qualification behind your name in order to be a Trainer, Assessor, or Moderator of an NQF5 Qualification.
  • You are able to transfer any part (module) of this qualification to any recognised country (by SAQA) in the world.
  • You won’t be able to transfer any part of this qualification if completed through the QCTO. (Only the full qualification.)
